Due to a coronavirus problem, PUBG has postponed its PUBG global series: Berlin.
The company announced the postponement of April PUBG Global Series: Berlin Due to the potential spread of coronavirus, today's event. Regional qualifier dates and times may also change.
The official announcement said: "PUBG is actively monitoring the spread of the latest coronavirus, which has recently been declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organization."
"We put the health and safety of our players, employees and fans first, so we made a difficult decision to postpone the PGS April: Berlin event. The dates and times for regional qualifiers may also change. The plan to host the four PUBG Global E-sports events remains unchanged, and we are actively exploring when alternative events can be held. "
PUBG Corp. said it will continue to provide updates once it "has a better understanding of the best options for esports fans, players and employees."
The publisher's private sector announced last week that Outer Worlds would see a delay in Nintendo Switch as the Chinese developer behind Switch Port, Virtuous, was shut down due to an ongoing medical emergency. Coronavirus is also thought to be the reason for the cancellation of the Taipei Game Show.
