A former professional counter-terrorist from Brazil: Global offensive player has been sentenced to 116 years in prison for online fraud.
Allegations of fraud Counter-Strike Global Offensive Player Shayene "shAy" Victorio was sent out for an online store she runs. She was accused of failing to deliver the items ordered by 118 customers and refused a refund (via Business Insider).
The Brazilian Task Force against Organized Crime investigated the allegations against Victorio. In her appeal, she claimed that her ex-husband was a co-owner and that her business partners were to blame.
Victorio began competing against the counter-strike elite at a speed of 1.6 in 2008, and turned to the global offensive. She retired last year, focusing on becoming a streamer and influencer.
In Brazil, the maximum sentence is 30 years and is only pronounced during the appeal process
