The first signs that Activision could now announce a completely new part of the cult series following the success of Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy were already condensed. Now the publisher is apparently preparing the official confirmation for this week.

Crash Bandicoot fans might be happy this week as Activision announces a completely new installment in the series. At least the publisher seems to suggest something similar now!
As it turns out, seven well-known social media influencers from Activision received a small present just before Christmas. These are each products that have Crash Bandicoot on the topic.
Like the YouTube Canadian Guy Eh reported, these gifts came to him without notice from virtually nothing. Activision has at least not sent these as part of a paid promo campaign, but obviously wants to provide some coverage in this way and probably prepare for the early confirmation of rumors circulating in the net about a new series part.

Why you can be so sure? Almost exactly a year ago Activision drove a similar track and sent cookies in a crash-style to various influencers. A short time later, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled was officially announced. The story seems to be repeated this year.
All the more so as there are two suitable opportunities for an announcement this week: Tomorrow, Sony will be showing the latest issue of "State of Play" this year. More likely, though, Activision will use the 2019 The Game Awards stage on Thursday night to probably announce a completely new Crash Bandicoot. Previous speculation was based on a release of the new title in the coming year 2020.
