Dark Three Kingdoms Action RPG, Crouching Dragon: Fallen Dynastyhas sold more than 1 million units worldwide since its release on March 3.
Total sales include physical and digital units sold on PlayStation, Xbox and PC via Steam.
In addition, the total number of players including Xbox Game Pass on console and PC now exceeds 3.8 million.
Developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo, Crouching Dragon: Fallen Dynasty finds you, a nameless soldier, battling monsters and demons in a dark fantasy version of the Three Kingdoms period.
First, you’ll create and customize your character, choosing from one of five stages. You can also choose from one of five mythical beasts that can assist you in battle, and they will also provide passive skills.
Like Team Ninja’s Nioh, the game is primarily linear, but unlike the former, it has a jump button that comes in handy during combat and exploration. It also features co-op multiplayer, which lets you summon friends to aid you in battle.
In addition to a slew of free updates, a slew of upcoming DLC packs will also be available for purchase in the coming months. The Central Plains DLC pack is scheduled to arrive in June, followed by two special DLC packs.
