That’s it, the last episode of the second season of ‘House of the Dragon’ has finally been broadcast and the least we can say is that it managed to provoke a reaction among fans. This episode was criticized for its lack of ambition and certainly for the issues raised here, which prepare the third season more than close it, but nevertheless this episode allowed fans to find for a brief moment one of their favorite characters: Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons , Breaker of Chains, Protector of the Kingdom, making her return for a sequence.
A new Daenerys
Daenerys is one of the most recognizable characters in Game of Thrones, so it’s a joy and surprise that fans were able to see her in a fairly brief sequence in this episode. However, this cameo was not directed by actress Emilia Clarke, who played the princess for the eight seasons of the first series. It was a joy to join the cast of House of the Dragon and play the role of Daenerys, an honor to step into Emilia Clarke’s shoes and bring such an important character to life, I even had a lot of fun for a moment. We shot so much footage that didn’t make it into the final cut, but I still can’t believe I had such an opportunity.
Emilia Clarke therefore did not take part in the filming of House of the Dragon, a missed appointment that perhaps indicates that the actress preferred to put an end to the world of George RR Martin. In any case, the return of the character clearly delighted viewers, who expressed their joy on social networks. We hope that season 3 of House of the Dragon will also bring back other iconic characters. Reply soon.
