Remember. In 2015, a game like no other was released: Ori and the Blind Forest. Developed by Moon Studios, the title has captivated the entire video game community thanks to its extremely careful graphics. The critics gave it almost perfect marks and it even received the award for best art direction at the Game Awards 2015. In 2020, the studio followed up with “Ori and the Will of the Wisps”, which even sold over 2 copies enjoyed greater success than its predecessor, selling millions of copies. No rest for the wicked
No rest for the wicked is therefore the future game from Moon Studios, announced a few months ago during the Game Awards 2023 ceremony. From an isometric perspective, it is an action RPG that is as gory as it is visually beautiful, and that is more like a Dark Souls than the Metroidvania genre that the studio is used to. And even though it was only recently announced, the developers have been talking about it since 2020. They explained at the time that their next project would leave the fantasy world and be based on people. But that’s not the only difference between this game and that one Ori. On the one hand, Xbox Game Studios is ceding its place to Private Division as publisher. The best game of the year
As already said, No rest for the wicked was one of the surprises of the recent Game Awards ceremony, offering some of the best graphics of the night. No specific release date has been announced yet, but the studio is planning an event called ” Evil inside which will take place on March 1st and will give us more information about the software. In our JV Fast, Panthaa and FKZ look back at the few minutes of gameplay that were revealed, and the least we can say is that they’re hard. Graphical quality, fluid movements and boss fights, these few images already make our mouths water. In this title we find a lot of inspiration: a mix of the boss patterns of Elden Ring, the dark plot of Bloodborne and the isometric camera of Diablo.
