Capcom goes all out for the launch of Street Fighter 6: the demo now available on all platforms allows us to test its gameplay and even take our first steps in the story mode known as World Tour. However, it has left the occasional loose end for fans of the characters. What the hell happened to Ken? Who is that mysterious JP? A month after his departure, The time has come to reveal the mystery.
Taking advantage of the context of Free Comic Book Day, Capcom and Udon (who have published the original comics and classic manga in the West) have offered the first issue of Street Fighter 6: Days of the Eclipse titled ‘Indication‘ in which we see how the fates of Ken Masters, his son Mel, the new protagonist Luke and the mysterious JP intertwine. And, by the way, we can already call the last one by his full name: John Petrovich.
A great little appetizer of no less than 48 pages that you can now read totally free from the official website of Street Fighter 6although it has only been released in English and Japanese.

To put us in context, Street Fighter 6: Days of the Eclipse takes place between the end of Street Fighter III and not long before Street Fighter 6, introducing us to Ken as Vice President of the Masters Foundation and his commitment to the future. Of course, despite the fact that he now fights more with paperwork than with opponents, the American martial arts champion has not lost his touch.
On the other hand, crucial new elements are added for this new chapter of the saga, including the establishment of a new country in Asia called Nayshall that it is going through its own phase of social and cultural expansion. Being, without giving too many details, a pressure cooker that is about to sound.

Beyond its value when it comes to starting to put pieces in the plot puzzle that will be Street Fighter 6 and its World Tour mode, the prequel comic will delight longtime fans of the saga: the cover bears the signature of Shinkiro, whom Capcom rescued after the resounding restructuring of SNK, and each page is drawn by Bengus , veteran cartoonist of the Osaka company and to whom we owe the art of the saga Street Fighter Alpha o Street Fighter V.
Where will the story end? Seeing as how, according to Ken’s bio, he’s decided to go low-key by earning a few bucks laying bricks in Metro City, we agree something big is about to happen. And, well, he will have to come up with the solution in the classic style: distributing knuckle syrup through the streets once the video game comes out.
Street Fighter 6 the next one will come June 2nd to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S and PC with three main game modes, including competitive Battle Hubthe classic experiences of Fighting Ground (including the Arcade) and its own story mode called World Tour in which we will give more meaning than ever to the name of the game. The sixth Round of the legendary Capcom saga begins!
