Behavior Interactive continues to build on the horror game Dead by Daylight and is already preparing the next chapter for release. They also want to modernize the killer existence.
Dead by Daylight will already have its 27th chapter in a few weeks. This was officially announced today by Behavior Interactive under the name “Tools of Torment” and brings with it the next new killer.
Accordingly, you will be able to slip into the boots of the new killer Skull Trader in the future. Actually known in the business world as Adriana Imai, she now becomes the first female slasher in Dead by Daylight. The wealthy and high-ranking tech executive not only dabbles in taking over smaller companies in the public eye, but also satiates her thirst for blood in the guise of her alter ego.
The Skull Trader’s strength is “Eyes in the Sky”. It’s another milestone in the long-running horror game, as the killer gets his hands on modern technology for the first time, allowing four drones to be stationed to monitor the survivors. Each drone is crafted from the skull of a former victim, combining bone and engineering. The survivors must devise a strategy to avoid and eliminate these floating horrors before their creator is alerted.
In addition to the new killer, there are also two new characters on the side of the survivors: the Brazilian sibling duo Thalita and Renato Lyra. They are the first surviving siblings to be dragged into the mist together. Thalita and Renato are a bright spot in their community and use their wind kite business to support local children. Teamwork comes naturally to the siblings, making them the ideal addition to any group of survivors. These qualities are reflected in their talents designed for teamwork.
Rounding out the newest chapter of the game is the Hunting Camp in the existing map MacMillan Estate – Shelter Forest. This consists of several connected shipping containers that represent both sides of Adriana Imai’s twisted world. The upper container forms your executive floor. In contrast to this is her workshop below, where she not only works on her deadly equipment, but also displays many of her trophies.
“Tools of Torment” will be available on March 7th, 2023 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Switch.
