Things seem to be going well for Dead by Daylight – six years, 50 million players (by their own admission). Now there is information about the upcoming content and features of the next few months.
To mark the sixth anniversary of Dead by Daylight, details of the next original chapter, The Roots of Horror, are being released June 7th. In it you meet a new killer, called Dredsche. With a “monster under the bed” approach, she wields a very special power: the ability to teleport back and forth between lockers to catch unsuspecting survivors when they feel safe out of the reach of misfortune.
You also get the opportunity to play Haddie Kaur, an Indian survivor. Fans may know her from her appearances in the archives and can now take charge of her destiny as a survivor. The new chapter also brings with it a new map: the Garden of Joy. The map depicts a scenic paradise in a quaint American town that hides great mysteries. The main building of this map is a classic family house.

In June 2021, Behavior Interactive has partnered with Capcom to bring Resident Evil’s Nemesis, Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine to life in Dead by Daylight. This year, Behavior Interactive announces that the two horror game companies have teamed up again. Resident Evil re-enters the mists in 2022 with a new chapter called Resident Evil: Project W, which will feature even more iconic characters from the legendary horror franchise.
After a poll and realizing that one of the most anticipated Dead by Daylight experiences in the entire community is a dating simulator, the development team decided to quench that thirst for love and romance. The result is Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Simulation. The first Dead by Daylight visual novel is an interactive game that allows romance with your favorite killers. Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim takes players to the killer island. Your company: four death-seeking killers who only want a little romance behind their murderous exterior. Fans flirt their way into the hearts of the Slayer, the Specter, the Trapper and the Ghost, discovering dark twists and turns along the way.
No joke: Dead by Daylight comes with a dating sim in which you can enter into a romantic relationship with your favorite killers.
Behavior Interactive also announced a crossover of the Attack on Titan game in the form of a collection. The award-winning Japanese manga series is one of the world’s most popular of all time and has been adapted into magazines, novels, live-action series and video games. The Attack on Titan Collection, coming soon, includes ten different outfits for killers and survivors alike.
For Dead by Daylight Mobile, which is said to have already attracted 25 million players, a major update is in the works that will bring new features. Among other improvements, there are new leaderboards, quick match and social systems, as well as major improvements to control layout, visual performance and gameplay fluidity. In addition, there will be a new system of activities and rewards.
