Even if Behavior Interactive has meanwhile launched a new title with Meet Your Maker, the long-running horror game Dead by Daylight is by no means ignored. Already tomorrow there are numerous innovations in the game.
Behavior Interactive today announced numerous changes in the horror game Dead by Daylight as part of “Tome 15: Ascension” for tomorrow, April 19th. There will also be new rewards and a new archive challenge.
New features in the new tome include cosmetic items and talismans derived from the memories of the life of the Skull Trader, Thalita and Reatoy Lyra – the protagonists of the last chapter. These will also appear as rewards in the Rift. Along with the new rift comes the Deep Rift (bonus tiers), available after completing Tier 70.
In the new archive challenge, you will be whisked away into the entity realm. You’ll find image fragments scattered randomly on maps; you have to put them together to unlock more information. The challenge will not be role specific; to complete this, you only have to put down the fragments or you have to escape alive with them.
The new range of cosmetic items for Killers and Survivors are already available. For a more casual look of the Tools of Torment characters, there is the eponymous collection consisting of the Cyber Assassin outfit for the Skull Trader, the family reunion for Thalita Lyra, and the family dinner for Renato Lyra. Containing the remnants of Felix’s Decline outfit, Haddie’s Wilderness Survival outfit, and the Knight’s Sinister Campaign outfit, the Wasteland Collection gives the characters a decayed aesthetic.
Tome 15: Ascension is out tomorrow at 5 p.m. for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Switch.
