Death Stranding: iOS version isn’t coming until next year

Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding was actually supposed to hit the iPhone and iPad in 2023, but unfortunately that won’t happen anymore. A postponement was confirmed quite recently, a year ago.

Kojima Productions has postponed the release of Death Stranding for Apple devices, which was actually planned for this year, to the last minute. The delay on iPhone, iPad and Mac was announced via a message on Twitter, so that the title will not be available for these platforms until next year.

According to 505 Games, which after the PC version is now also the publisher for the versions for iPhone, iPad and Mac, Death Stranding will now appear for Apple devices in early 2024; Unfortunately, nothing more specific was provided at first, so we cannot give you a more precise date.

The statement says they look forward to making the Director’s Cut available on these platforms. However, you still need a little more time; there should be a new release date at the beginning of 2024. By the way, you can hardly wait to welcome even more Porters in Death Stranding: Director’s Cut.

If you want to play on your Apple smartphone on the go, you must have the latest iPhone 15 Pro; all other iPhones are not supported. On iPad and Mac, only devices with at least an M1 chip are supported.
