At least one game version of the tactical shooter Delta Force is now appearing a whole lot later than previously planned.
The returning shooter series Delta Force is set to cause a sensation not only on the PC, but also on consoles and mobile platforms. If you want to gamble on the go, you'll have to be patient for a while. Team Jade has announced that the mobile version of the promising shooter will unfortunately be delayed.
The team now announced via social media that Delta Force Mobile will only be available from summer 2025. Reason: The “top tier experience” that players would earn is not quite ready at the moment and still needs further optimization. The game is still a “very ambitious project” that simply could not have been completed satisfactorily within the previous schedule.
Delta Force entered an open beta on the PC on December 5, 2024 and is enjoying greater popularity. The iOS and Android versions were supposed to be released this month, but are now coming several months later in the summer.
But it's not all bad: The game should basically run very well on mobile platforms, but with the additional development time they want to ensure that a wide range of devices are supported and that the title then runs excellently there.
The development team also promises the community a whole range of new content that is already planned for the remainder of 2025. These include five new operators, at least seven new maps, additional weapons, vehicles and other “cool features”.
Delta Force: Hawk Ops was also at Gamescom.
