The Prince of Persia remake is no longer showing any sign of life, but Ubisoft wants to reassure by opening a mini FAQ on the subject.
dead or not dead What is certain is that the Prince of Persia Remake game does not offer many news to reassure players and fans of the license. Ubisoft was aware of the problem and therefore wanted to provide some clarifications to remind us not to bury the adventure game too soon.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is not canceled. The game is currently in development at Ubisoft Montreal.
Other series remakes
Beyond PoP: The Sands of Time, there are currently no plans to re-release any other Prince of Persia titles.

No new release date has been set yet. We will provide more information on this when we are ready.
Pre-Order Cancellations
As the game does not yet have a release date, existing pre-orders have been canceled and refunded where applicable.
Pre-orders may resume once a new game release date has been announced.

We can therefore expect news soon, but on the other hand we must not be too impatient because for the moment the adventure game does not have a release date and Ubisoft does not seem at all ready to give one. It must be said that this remake of Prince of Persia had many problems with a studio change that happened in May 2022. First entrusted to Ubisoft Pune and Mumbai, the game is now in the hands of Ubisoft Montreal.
