It’s that time again. Voting for the 2023 Lost Cosmetics Festival in Destiny 2 has begun, allowing community members to choose which spooky skins they want to wear this Halloween.
This year, we have Spiders vs. Beetles. For those TikTok fans who are keen to vote, you will need to sign up to receive emails from your Bungie account. At that point, you’ll be able to choose your main course and the outfit of your choice – a big change this year sure to be a crowd pleaser.
For those who don’t know, in the past, players would vote once on which of two different skin styles they preferred, with little concern for the voter’s rating. That means one particularly good design can turn things around. Now that you’re voting on the best design for a single class instead of selecting them all, that shouldn’t happen anymore.
And a good thing, because some of these designs are really good! The Titan’s spider design, in particular, got a lot of people on Destiny 2 Reddit excited. Not that the Beetle design is bad. Frankly, they’re both great in their own right, but it seems like a lot of Titan has won them over.
As for the rest, both options for hunters have hoods, which is usually their concern. Warlocks, with either multiple eyes or protruding horns, also appeal to fans of creepy reptiles.
Either way, if you’re a Destiny 2 player and want to vote yourself, be sure to enable email on your Bungie account. While Halloween is still a long way off, the team will start making winners soon, so keep going!
