In a press release this Wednesday, Bungie confirmed that the popular PvP mode "Trials of Osiris" aka "Trials of Osiris" will return soon in Destiny 2. On the occasion of the upcoming "Season of the Worthy", the feature will be brought back from March 13, 2020.
The Osiris Trials are a 3-vs-3 game mode in which you can play some of the most popular armor, weapons, and maps from the first Destiny. Among them are boiler, exodus blue and anomaly.
Justin Truman, Production Director at Bungie, explains the decision as follows: "Of course we saw how the players talked about it incessantly – we felt the same way. I can't wait to bring back a version of the exams I got from Destiny 1 know. "
The announcement, which was long awaited by players of the sequel, was also underlined by the publication of a corresponding video with further details; you can see this below.
Destiny 2 players had to contribute to the comeback of the mode themselves, as part of the "Season of Dawn" they had to collect a new seasonal resource and contribute to the "Empyrean Foundation" project. This project was completed on Tuesday and ended up not only in an achievement, but in the announcement of the return of Osiris.
Destiny 2 once got a spiritual sequel to the launch of Trials of the Nine, but the mode was put on hold indefinitely in 2018. Now the original is back!
