The untitled Avatar game that Ubisoft is developing has not been cancelled.
You will forget all this, which is forgivable, but almost three years ago, Ubisoft announced that it was developing a game based on James Cameron Avatar.
The game will be developed by the division's manufacturer, Massive, based on the studio's proprietary engine, Snowdrop. For reference, this is a year before the announcement of Division 2.
Since the project was revealed, Ubisoft has not doubted whether the project will appear on PCs and hosts. However, this week, Massive confirmed that the game is still in development as part of an upcoming preview event for the New York Division 2 War Wards.
When asked, producer Jesper Karabanov told Screen Rant: "Yes, but I can't say. I can't talk about it."
At this stage, we obviously know nothing about the game. Considering Ubisoft isn't too keen on talking about it, it may take years. When announced, the first sequel to Avatar is scheduled to be released from 2018 to 2019, but will now be released in December 2021.
