Ellie and Joel’s journey is anything but carefree on PC, and for once it’s not the fault of the infected. The Last of Us Part 1 suffers from technical problems after release, players complain about crashes, graphic bugs and so on.
The development studios Naughty Dog and Iron Galaxy are currently working on hotfixes and patches to improve the PC version. Now there is a small roadmap for the first week of April 2023.
When is which patch coming for The Last of Us Part 1?
So far, two hotfixes for The Last of Us Part 1 have appeared on the PC: Both update v1.0.1.5 and update v1.0.1.6 attack technical difficulties and causes of crashes.
Naughty Dog has now announced that another hotfix on Tuesday April 4, 2023, will appear. Among other things, this should fix camera problems that can occur with mouse control.
At the end of next week, at some point before April 9, 2023, a larger patch is to be released. What exactly is in the update is still unknown.
Naughty Dog also shared via Twitter that players should ensure they have the latest Nvidia, AMD or Intel drivers installed on their PC. Notice the complaints from fans:
