As is well known, E3 is canceled this year, but a well-known format that is iconic in the video game scene is returning anyway: Devolver Digital is not doing without its own mostly very humorous showcase.
Devolver Digital has announced that it will broadcast its own showcase online again this year. This has been done regularly in the past in the context of the large US trade fair E3, which is canceled this year. Nevertheless, the Devolver Direct will also be on display in 2022.
So it starts in the coming week on June 10, 2022 at 0:00 a.m. German time. If you want to be there, you can go to Twitch Tune in and can look forward to no less than “Mecha” Suda51 as host.
The presentation, which will probably last around 30 minutes, will be held as part of the Summer Game Fest under the name “Devolver Marketing Countdown to Marketing”. It is humorously said that they want to exploit untapped potential for countdowns and deliver “the greatest countdown the industry has ever seen”.
What can you expect from the show itself? There will be four video game announcements. Incidentally, you can probably look forward to the Devolver classic humor, because the men usually also take the gaming industry as a whole a little bit.
