Diablo 4 and the impossible to title analysis – with Maurice and Jessirocks
We are in the middle of one of the longest rollercoaster rides of all time. One of those endless rollercoasters from Rollercoaster Tycoon – only its name is Diablo 4! Of course, after several years full of scandals and disappointments, Blizzard is not always in the community’s good graces anyway.
But Diablo 4 still had an extremely successful release. After that, there was a constant up and down of a divided community with different wishes, common points of criticism and great emotions. Season 4 just brought many players back and even inspired the declared season hater Maurice to play Diablo 4 again. But then Season 5 started on the test servers….
GameStar Talk: All videos and podcasts at a glance
Shortly before the release of the first add-on Vessel of Hatred, we are now at a very confusing point in this emotional rollercoaster ride. Diablo 4 somehow vacillates between mega-success and total failure and every argument in this debate has several truths. To summarize all of this in a single headline – unfortunately impossible!
And the problem lies even deeper, as Géraldine explains in her conversation with Diablo experts Jessirocks and Maurice finds out: Blizzard has been trying to catch up with itself since the release and is tripping over its own feet.
You can see all this and more in the video above, or you can listen to it here in the podcast:
