Despite much criticism about the microtransactions, Diablo Immortal is successful on mobile devices. Now Blizzard Entertainment continues to work on the action RPG and announces the first major update for the coming week.
Blizzard Entertainment has been working on a major update for the iOS and Android offshoot Diablo Immortal for a long time – and now it’s finally finished. In the coming week, the developers want to go live and install the update.
So it starts on September 28, 2022. Anyone who installs the comprehensive update will, among other things, get a brand new dungeon at their fingertips. In addition, the story quest series is continued with the “Silent Monastery”. As the new dungeon is shrouded in eternal night, you must find sources of light to illuminate the halls and defend yourself against the nightmare hordes there.
With “Castle Cyrangar” you also get a new home. The castle will replace the military camps in the future and also offer new gameplay features. In “Cleanse the Depths” you can become more powerful individually and obtain leftovers that can be placed in “Squad Rooms”.
But that’s not all: in “Defending Cyrangar” you can work together with your squad to fight back demons and earn additional rewards. Participating in the events also gives you a chance to find ancestral weapons.
In addition to the update, the Season 5: Descendants Battle Pass is coming September 29th with updated challenges, rewards, and a new cosmetic item. Meanwhile, Izilech the Disfigured is the fifth boss in Hell’s Reliquary and will be available for challenge starting October 2nd.
