Diablo Immortal is by no means undisputed, but it still has numerous players. They can now look forward to fresh content in the form of a new Battle Pass – and a new event is also imminent.
These days, Blizzard has been performing maintenance on the Diablo Immortal servers and subsequently made new content available for the action role-playing game. There is a new mini-update for the game, which in this case marks the start of the Season 3 Battle Pass.
In general, such mini-updates may not only include Battle Passes in the future, but also game events and feature updates. This differs from future major updates to the title, which may include new gameplay features, free story expansions, in-game events, and more.
The new in-game Season 3 Battle Pass again features 40 ranks full of challenges and rewards. Among other things, you can secure legendary gems, emblems, hilt and more. In addition to the free version, there are two paid versions to upgrade the Battle Pass: the Empowered Battle Pass and the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass.
The former includes all the rank rewards from the standard free Battle Pass, but also unlocks an upgraded reward path that offers additional rewards at each rank. You’ll also get the fearsome cosmetic weapon: Aspect of Justice at rank 1 and the radiant cosmetic armor: Aspect of Justice at rank 40.
In the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass, you’ll gain access to all rank rewards and cosmetic items from the Empowered Battle Pass. There’s also the Avatar Frame: Aspect of Justice, the Cosmetic Portal, and rank-up through 10 ranks. The Season 3 Battle Pass only runs until September 1st at 2:59 server time.
A new in-game event, “Hungry Moon,” has also been announced, which will take place from August 12 at 3:00 a.m. to August 15 at 3:00 a.m. Here you can secure moon shards that you can exchange for blessings. Once you’ve collected seven blessings, you’ll be in favor with the moon to exchange them for a random reward like Magic Dust, Glowing Shards, and Legendary Gear.
You can find more details, including the smaller feature improvements in the blog entry on the official website.
