The long quarterly update on the official website reveals some interesting details about the upcoming Diablo IV. Blizzard has evaluated the feedback on the first BlizzCon demo. In the course of this, for example, some noticeable changes have been made in the inventory, but also implemented some frequently desired control options.
Since a large number of players asked for a corresponding option, the left click on the PC can be reassigned. The primary ability can now be proven elsewhere in the control options to keep movement and attack strictly separate. Overall, the new part should offer significantly more flexibility in the key assignment. Each skill can be assigned to any place, you can adjust the key assignment of all skill places yourself.
The new part is the first time that a serial branch has been developed for PC and consoles at the same time. For this reason, controller support is already being programmed, which will then also be available on the PC. In the future, you can switch back and forth freely on the home computing server and in the future also use controllers, as you are used to from the console.
Another focus is on the implementation of the popular couch co-op, which many players have already liked in Reaper of Souls. Since this co-op mode was primarily used with two players in Diablo III, Diablo IV concentrates on this as far as the optimizations are concerned. In the future, the most important user interface windows can be set up so that they can be opened independently or simultaneously. This is one of the most frequent criticisms of the couch co-op of the current part.
In the future, further adjustments will be made to this user interface on a regular basis, with the focus on user-friendliness and not on the graphic display.
In the further course of the blog entry one also goes into monster families and designs; among other things, the cannibals are illuminated more closely. Diablo fans the complete entry on the official website therefore warmly recommended.
