The hunt for loot has always been the appeal of Diablo. In the latest installment of the series, tons of items are waiting to be discovered, used and thrown away again. But what if you knew how to get the six most powerful unique items?
Thankfully, Blizzard has good-hearted people like lead class designer Adam Jackson. While his colleagues in the Campfire updates only cryptically stated that the majority of players will never find the most powerful items, he tells you how to get six of the strongest and most unique items.

Accordingly, these are the following items that will upgrade any adventurer setup in Diablo IV:
- Doombringer – One-handed sword that grants shadow damage bonuses
- The Grandfather – Two-handed sword that can increase critical hit damage by 100 percent.
- Ring of the Starless Sky – Greatly reduces resource consumption
- Andariel’s Visage – Helm with up to 20 percent chance to fire a poison nova.
- Harlequin’s Crest – Brings +25 to stats and +4 to all skills (only found once worldwide so far)
- Molten Heart of Selig – Ring that shifts damage received to resources
That’s a great selection, but how do you get hold of the coveted items now? According to Jackson, basically every enemy over level 85 drops them. You just have to be in a place where other uniques drop. Targeted farming like with the Baal Runs in Diablo II is therefore not possible.
Blizzard recently released an extensive patch for Diablo IV that changes a lot. Along with various class balance adjustments, the studio tackled the Nightmare Dungeons. These now bring more experience points, among other things. You can find everything about update 1.0.3 in our corresponding news.
