If you’re wondering if you can play Palworld using just your thoughts, one streamer has proven that, yes, you can!
You may have heard of Perrikaryal before, he’s a Twitch streamer who has played some games that use mind control technology before, including games like Elden Ring and Skyrim VR. Well, Perrikaryal is back with another game played through mind control, the popular game Palworld on Steam. You can check out a clip of Perrikaryal playing with her mind in the early parts of the game below, successfully completing tasks like picking up rocks, punching rocks, and even grabbing a friend.

It seemed a little crazy, and she noticed how she was able to execute four commands at once, something she hadn’t been able to do before. If you’re wondering how she does this, she wears a headset on her head with different receivers at different points. They could then identify different parts of the brain’s activity, and she even got a 3D model of her brain, and the different parts of her brain she was using. In a video from a few months ago, she detailed how it all works, explaining that she essentially imagined different actions, like pushing and pulling something, in response to certain button inputs.
Initially, when she first started playing the game with mind control, movement still required using a controller to perform, but she later added gyroscopic controls via head movement that allowed her to move around, making the entire setup completely hands-free.

A full video of Perrikaryal playing Palworld (including all the hiccups) can be viewed on her Twitch channel. It’s not a completely smooth experience, and it also relies on some voice input, but it’s still worth a try and a potential way to make the game more accessible.
