GameLoft announces Dream Snap Update Disney’s Valley of Dreams will go live on Wednesday, July 19. In the meantime, it’s also shared updated patch notes, and it looks like there’s a lot to look forward to.
The DreamSnaps update will bring new content to the game, including Wreck-It Ralph’s Vanellope and its associated friendship quest, as well as DreamSnaps themselves. So what are DreamSnaps?
Well, DreamSnaps will let players get creative, offering the chance to participate in weekly photo challenges. There will be rewards for participating, which means you can buy yourself some moonstones, furniture, and new clothes.
That said, it’s worth noting that Touch of Magic clothing and furniture will not be compatible with DreamSnaps and cannot be included in your submission.
DreamSnaps is the closest we’ve gotten to a multiplayer game in Disney’s Valley of Dreams. Arguably, multiplayer is an important feature that makes Disney Dreaming more fun. When the quest is done, there’s not much to do but farm, and the valley is beautiful and nice with friends. Alas, we’ll have to wait and see if GameLoft considers this in the future.
For now, though, competing against other players in DreamSnaps seems like a fun way to share players’ efforts in their respective valleys.
