Yu-Gi-Oh! Apparently originally started as a manga, but it’s an English translation of the manga Magic: The Gathering The comic is now finally on its way.
The world of comics is a very diverse one, filled with all kinds of weird and unique stories that aren’t often found in mainstream comics. “Destroy All Humanity” is such a strange comic. They cannot regenerate. Magic: The Gathering Comics is a true comic about the popular card game. Earlier this week, comic publisher Viz Media announced that the card game comic will finally get an English translation this fall and, most importantly for Magic players, it will come with an exclusive card.

The comic is actually set in the late ’90s, so it might be a bit of a throwback to someone who’s been playing Magic since then, or a time capsule to uncover for younger readers. I hadn’t actually heard of it before this news came out, and I was particularly surprised to find out that not only is the manga six years old, but it’s still going on, so apparently it’s good enough to warrant 15 volumes . Hey, Magic: The Gathering is a fun card game, even though Wizards uses some generative AI in its marketing.
While this upcoming comic could obviously be a gateway into Magic for some newcomers, our own Alex has recently become interested in the game due to its crossover Doctor Who and Fallout cards.
