According to that Annual report of the Europe games industry from 2021 of the game association, six out of ten Europes play computer and video games. The majority of these players also use their smartphones.
About 22.6 million people enjoy gaming on their mobile phones. For comparison: According to the report, 17 million people played on the consoles in 2021 and around 15.2 million people played on the PC. Mobile gaming has thus occupied the top spot for several years in a row. We also notice this trend in PC gaming. More and more successful game series, which previously only took place on the PC or the console, are getting a mobile offshoot. About Diablo Immortal, Pokémon Go or Battlefield Mobile.
