Limited Run Games is no stranger to bringing a physical copy of Doom to the Switch, and they’ve once again pulled Doom Eternal out of the bag. Thanks to LRG, Doom Eternal will finally receive some physical copies of the Nintendo Switch.
Doom Eternal originally launched on Nintendo Switch in 2020, with hard copy available. Pre-orders flooded in, and in true Bethesda fashion, for some reason it all went awry. A month before its release, Bethesda announced that Doom Eternal would not be releasing a physical version on Switch, and that all pre-orders would be refunded.
As expected, fans eagerly awaiting the game weren’t too happy that the physical release for Switch was canceled. In many cases, people choose to subscribe to other platforms to ensure they receive a hard copy of the game. However, just over two years later, Limited Run Games gave fans what they wanted on March 20, 2020.
The only thing they’re afraid of…is you. 🔥
