id Software has just unveiled the arrival of solo content for DOOM Eternal, but this is no reason for developers to rest on laurels.
In May, id Software plans to deploy a major update for DOOM Eternal, update 1, on all platforms. The latter will offer many new features, starting with the presence of additional challenges thanks to the implementation of Reinforced Demons. How does this novelty work? When a player dies in the single player campaign, the demon who eliminates him becomes even more formidable, but against all odds, it will not be the fallen player to exterminate this monster. The demon will then be transported to your friends' games. Obviously, killing Reinforced Demons will allow aspiring Slayers to fill up on health and ammo and gain additional experience points. The solo mode will also offer some modifications such as extended tutorials on demons, a vertical rush to use underwater or even an adjustment of toxic water damage.
In addition to recent
With Update 1, players will also be able to add friends via Bethesda.net. A new option allowing players to quickly join in Battle Mode.
Obviously, this update 1 of Doom Eternal is not the only project of id Software. Indeed, the developers also point out that they are working on the Invasion mode as well as on the first extension of the Pass Year One. A solo expansion that has just revealed two new images.
