A financial report recently suggested that the new RPG epic Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will probably not be released in 2023. A well-known insider is now adding the supposedly planned release period for the game.

A few weeks ago it became public in May that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is apparently no l onger planned for the current year 2023. The role-playing sequel did not appear on EA’s list of titles planned for the current fiscal year, which means that a release from April 2024 at the earliest was virtually sealed. Now one of the most renowned insiders in the video game industry is following suit.

What is meant in this case is the well-known and also extremely reliable Jeff Grubb, who is on the subject via Twitter reported to speak. According to insiders, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is currently slated for a Summer 2024 release. We would therefore have to be patient for at least about a year until the time has finally come!

Dreadwolf is currently targeting summer 2024

Grubb’s statement was preceded by a conversation on the short message service. This was actually about the question of whether a detailed presentation of the title could finally be expected in the current summer of 2023. Grubb says no; he at least doesn’t expect that Dreadwolf will be presented in detail in the coming weeks and months.

It remains to be seen whether he will be right in his prediction of the release period. Of course, there is currently no official confirmation of the whole thing and it should not be expected. However, particularly in the recent past, prominent titles have shifted noticeably backwards. So it’s quite possible that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf could be pushed back a bit in internal planning than the supposed release period of summer 2024. Of course we’ll keep you posted!
