Bandai Namco has made a statement regarding the release date of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero and has also confirmed various editions of the new game.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, the first installment in the Budokai Tenkaichi series in 15 years, will be released on October 11, 2024. This was announced tonight at the Summer Game Fest by Geoff Keighley. The release is planned for the already confirmed platforms PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC and pre-orders are now possible.
Anyone who wants to get the title developed by Spike Chunsoft is spoiled for choice between different editions. In addition to the standard edition, there is also a Digital Deluxe Edition, which offers three days early access and the Season Pass. The latter has more th an 20 characters for you, including figures from Dragon Ball Super Hero and Dragon Ball Daima.
The Digital Ultimate Edition goes one step further and also includes the Ultimate Upgrade Pack, which includes the Goku Super Costume with Power Pole, an emote voice pack, a customization item, and two player card backgrounds. This edition also offers the ability to summon Super Shenron to unlock items or characters.
But it goes even further: The Collector’s Edition also contains an exclusive diorama and a Metallica bookmark. The Premium Collector’s Edition is available exclusively in the Bandai Namco Store and also comes in a steelbook with four exclusive cards from the Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion Worlds.
