The Dragon Lord’s trial is over. At least for now. The Nuremberg District Court sentenced the controversial Youtuber to a one-year suspended sentence. One witness in particular caused a stir during the trial.
The Youtuber Drachenlord was again in court yesterday. After being sentenced to two years in prison in October last year, he appealed. The appeal process started early. Within a day, the district court of Nuremberg passed the new verdict against Rainer Winkler. One year probation.
The court acquitted the Youtuber on several charges. He was acquitted of attacking a man with a flashlight and attacking two medical students who were visiting Rainer Winkler on Altschauerberg. The court judged the acquittals to have ignored the requests to move away from the dragon lord’s property and Rainer Winkler had no other option than to defend himself.
However, he was found guilty of other crimes, including insulting police officers. The total penalty is one year in prison. In addition, the suspended sentence was subject to conditions. So Rainer Winkler has to contact a media consultant or another body to get help. He also has to see a therapist and donate 2,500 dollars to an initiative for children with cancer.
Particularly bizarre: A suspected victim of Rainer Winkler, who was supposed to testify in court as a witness, appeared heavily intoxicated on the witness stand. He is said to have become conspicuous before the court hearing and argued with the police.
