Just last week, the Authority Pack was the first free DLC for Dying Light 2. Less than a week later, the developers are giving us the next free additional content. As with the first DLC, the Ronin Pack will be released in three parts. How and when you can claim the goodies, we show you in this article.

What’s in the Free Ronin Pack?
New weapon and new outfit: The second free DLC of Dying Light 2 takes us to Asia. From February 21st you can put on the robes of a (very modern) samurai. But what would a samurai be without the sword? The two-handed weapon is the crowning glory!
Techland has released a short teaser trailer for the Ronin Pack for Dying Light 2, which you can watch here:
When is the free DLC coming out?
As with the first free DLC, the Ronin Pack will be released in three parts, so you won’t get all the clothes and the samurai sword at once. From the following dates you can pick up the in-game items on the official Techland website.
- Chest piece, sweatpants, sneakers: February 21, 2022 – already available
- Headgear, Bracers, Gloves: February 23, 2022
- Weapon: February 25, 2022
This is how you don’t break the free weapon: Unfortunately, the weapons in Dying Light 2 have an annoying habit of breaking down over time. Of course, that would be a shame with the special weapons from the DLC content. The so-called Charm cork

If you bought Dying Light 2 via Steam, you can comfortably use the Shopseite Download all previous DLCs. On all other platforms you have to take a small detour:
- Opens the official Techland website
- Go to the rider Events
- Look for the Ronin Pack and click
More
- At the bottom of the subpage you can select the platform you are playing on.
- Now you have to log in with the respective account: Playstation, Xbox, Steam or Epic
- Once you have secured your items, you can finally open the game
- If everything went well, you will be informed in the main menu that the content is now in Aiden’s hiding place.
- Once you’re in the game, all you have to do is go to Aiden’s hideout, which is marked with a green backpack.
- Now you should see your new items in the hiding place and you can add them to your inventory from now on.
Important NOTE: You cannot claim all items at once, you must log into the Techland website on each of the three days and claim the new items.
