E3 will be different this year, and today we will learn how.
ESA’s E3 organizer revealed E3 2021, This will be done digitally from June 12th to 15th.
E3 2021 will mainly rely on two ways to deliver content: online portals and mobile applications. The two will form the hub of all program content during the entire performance. In this way, the public can visit the virtual booth, watch the live broadcast and participate in various activities of the exhibition. You need to create an account for this, which also gives you access to some customization options for forums and avatars.
But this is not the only way to watch the show, because E3 is on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter The main broadcast hosted by Greg Miller, Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez and Jacki Jing will also be broadcast.
Public access to the portal will begin on the first day of E3 2021, June 12, and you will be able to create a free account later this month. In the week of June 7, media and industry professionals will also use the same portal and application for interviews, early access to demos, and all other operations that usually happen on E3.
So far, many publishers have signed contracts. The list includes Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Take-Two, Capcom, Square Enix, Sega, Warner Bros., Bandai Namco and Koch Media. Konami was supposed to be part of the lineup, but withdrew from the game at the last minute. Some of these publishers, such as Ubisoft, are hosting their own events under the banner of E3, while others are just showing off their games at the show.
Of course, Sony is still the person with the largest number of absentees. This year, Activision Blizzard and EA (which will host their own performances in July this year) have also joined Sony.
