EA revealed a brief overview of this fiscal year's plans.
As part of income requirements EAIn the third quarter of fiscal 2020, the publisher also shared some tidbits about the next fiscal 2021 plan. Fiscal year 2021 will begin in April and end in March 2021.
During this period, EA will release eight games in its in-house studios, four of which are annual sports games, while the other four are based on existing IP. EA has confirmed new FIFA and Madden games, which excludes NHL and NBA Live. The NBA Live 20, originally scheduled for release in 2019, was eventually cancelled.
It's unclear whether the next NBA Live belongs to these four games, but as EA previously suggested, this could be the next exclusive game. EA also released four games from independent developers, which may be part of its EA Originals label.
As for non-sport titles, we do know that this fiscal year deserves the Medal of Honor: Beyond Honor, so not including three. Once again, we are not quite sure what most of them are, just not. For example, battlefields will not appear until fiscal 2022.
Finally, EA also plans to soft launch two new mobile games.
