Summary
- How and why do you unlock the EAT-17 in Helldivers 2?
- How to use the EAT-17 effectively in Helldivers 2?
When you play Helldivers IIYou surely know that the game from Arrowhead Game Studios offers one very large number of weapons and stratagems It is different to face the hordes of Terminids or automatons that will stand between you and democracy. When all the main weapons can be unlocked thanks to the medals won at the end of your games, the Support weapons are generally much more effective, but can only be used through the use of certain, very specific strategies. Among them we find in particular the EAT-17 Charge Antichar
To unlock this EAT-17 Charge AnticharYou just have to reach them level 3 and spend 3000 request tickets, a very small sum for such an important weapon. As with the other Stratagems, you can unlock the EAT-17 anti-tank charger from your ship’s menu by interacting with the screens on the left side of your ship. We strongly recommend that you unlock this strategy as soon as possible because it is easily one of the best in the game and can be useful to you in any game.whether you prefer to play on the lowest or most challenging difficulty levels.
Once you have unlocked the EAT-17 Charge Antichar, all you have to do is add it to your list of battles when you join your Hellpod to be able to use it in the field. As with all support weapons, you then have to “summon” the EAT-17 anti-tank attack with a specific code (here: down, left, right, up, down). Unlike other support weapons You can only fire this rocket launcher once and cannot reload it. Luckily, each drop of the EAT-17 anti-tank charge comes in pairs, allowing you to fire a maximum of two missiles per drop. Even better, The real strength of this strategy lies in the particularly short reload time
Therefore, in order to properly use the EAT-17 anti-tank attack, we advise you to first make sure that at least one or even two players can summon it in your squad. However, unlike other support weapons, you shouldn’t drop them at the start of your game to keep them behind your back, but rather treat this ruse as a large grenade or orbital strike. As soon as you encounter a Charger, a Corrosive Titan, a Scout Spider, a Colossus, or any other enemy that’s a little too armored (or a little too annoying), lay down an EAT-17 anti-tank charge and equip yourself in time, to fire a missile at it (or both), then switch back to your classic support weapon. Additionally, if your hands are too full or you have a few too many enemies behind you, don’t hesitate to place the EAT-17 anti-tank charge near your allies so that they can fire in your place.
Once the EAT-17 anti-tank attack hits, you should normally have penetrated your opponent’s armor enough to be able to attack them with less armor-piercing weapons, at least when fighting the Terminids. If you’re playing against the Automatons and one shot of EAT-17 Anti-Tank Charge isn’t enough, you’ll have to keep firing with armor-piercing weapons to finish them off. Note that while the EAT-17 anti-tank charge’s strength lies in its easy and quick use and high instant damage, sometimes you may need to opt for something even more explosive like one GR-8 recoilless rifleAnd FAF-14 lance or a Orbital electromagnetic cannon strike to defeat the most powerful enemies.
