In many respects, this week is considered one of the decisive ones in the sign of the corona crisis: It is important to curb Covid-19 in Germany and slow down the spread, at the same time the big associations such as DFL and UEFA also meet in sporting terms, as is the case with the planned major events go on. Among other things, EURO 2020 is also on the agenda.
The signs are currently on a shift in terms of EURO 2020. The first media reports may bring the European Football Championship into play in December or even in the summer of 2021, although FIFA would also have to play a part in the latter, given the newly planned Club World Cup. But what does that mean for the planned EURO DLC in eFootball PES 2020? This was finally confirmed for April 30, 2020.
Konami has now given the all-clear: Even if EURO 2020 were postponed or even canceled, the DLC for the football game should be published as planned – despite all the effects of Covid-19. The pandemic will not prevent the release of the additional content for PS4, PC and Xbox One as a free update.
The update will bring all 55 of UEFA's national teams with them, including the authentic jerseys, the real squads and the Wembley Stadium in London, which has so far been planned to host the semi-finals and finals.
