The release of Elden Ring is finally within reach. On Friday the latest game from Dark Souls developers From Software starts worldwide. However, owners of the digital version of the open-world game will have to wait for the activation. Bandai Namco has now revealed when exactly the time will come.
In 2019, Elden Ring was officially announced at E3. All we knew back then was that it was a new game from From Software, with a story co-written by Game of Thrones author George RR Martin, among others. After that it got quiet. It would take until 2021 before we saw new information and finally the first gameplay.
At the end of this month, on February 25th, the Elden Ring finally appears and we can go into the so-called intermediate world and again plunge headlong into danger and die, die and die again. But when exactly can we get started?
Bandai Namco now revealed the start times for the different regions via Twitter. Accordingly, we are allowed to start directly at midnight in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Of course, this only applies to owners of the digital version. Anyone who can grab a physical copy of the game ahead of time can play as soon as they get their hands on the copy.
