Quite a few players seek out other allies for help against certain bosses, but this is only a temporary pleasure in Elden Ring. A new mod aims to change that.
Summoning an eager helper for the next boss fight is not uncommon in the Elden Ring. It’s just a pity that the pleasure is only temporary and ends with the death of the player or the boss.
A resourceful modder named Luke Yui apparently didn’t want to take this for granted and created a mod that turns the Elden Ring into a two-player co-op experience. An open beta of the mod will be available from May 27th at NexusMods and give you the opportunity to play the game together with a buddy.
In addition to fighting together, there are of course also some practical features that make life easier in co-op. For example, you can vote where your fast travel should go and a spectator mode in case of death is also planned.
LukeYui has created a number of mods for From Software games and seems to know his way around.
