From Software likes to hide all sorts of secret messages in its games. But sometimes the fans look in places where there is nothing to be found. After debates about what the many vocal performances are about, there is now clarity once and for all.
Of the Reddit-Nutzer Master Organ is studying Latin and has been struggling to analyze the lyrics in the game’s soundtrack and has come up with a surprising result. The lyrics don’t make any sense at all, for the most part. Instead, it’s computer-generated incoherent gibberish meant only to sound like an ancient language.

Magister Organi first took on the Song of Lament, sung by sirens throughout the world of Elden Ring. This is actually Latin, but the lyrics are from an author who only worked on this song. However, this is probably the exception. Because other tracks like Mogh – Lord of Blood consist only of words and sounds intended to evoke the language and create a dramatic effect. The Reddit user even went so far as to contact some of the music producers involved in the game, who confirmed that the lyrics had no meaning whatsoever.
