Elden Ring is certainly one of the greatest hopes for the coming year, but From Software’s game has become suspiciously quiet. When will there finally be fresh information again? There are now new statements in this regard.
If you ignore the release speculations from a few weeks ago, then we haven’t heard from Elden Ring for a long time. The project of the Dark Souls makers from From Software is one of the greatest hopes and most anticipated games due to the cooperation with author George RR Martin (template for the HBO series “Game of Thrones”). But that could change in the foreseeable future, at least if you can believe the statements of an insider.
The renowned games journalist Jeff Grubb from GamesBeat said in a video, citing an unofficial, unspecified source, that there could be fresh information about Elden Ring soon. In the past few days, Grubb said, “Of course you are working on this game … you don’t have it here [auf den The Game Awards] shown, but I think that could have been done if they had wanted to. “
And further: “I think it’s got to that stage now. But let’s just give it a month or two.”
That’s a pretty clear indication that a new idea of the potential top hit isn’t too far off, but the usually well-informed Grubb added later in the video, “There’s one thing I’ve heard that I do can also say: Just have a little bit more patience, really just a little bit more. That doesn’t mean just a few days and I don’t think just a few weeks either, but it doesn’t mean months after months either. “
Elden Ring was presented at the Xbox press conference at E3 2019.
