Publisher Electronic Arts is pulling the plug on several titles in January. We’ll tell you here which games are affected.

Developers and publishers more or less regularly take their older games offline, often because they are no longer being played by as many players. It’s that time again at Electronic Arts, because in January 2025 the servers for seven more titles will be switched off.

After two titles had already been announced that would be taken off the internet in January, the list has now grown to a total of nine games. To reassure you right away: The most famous blockbusters from EA from earlier days are not necessarily included; These tend to be smaller and lesser-known titles or niche games.

The list of EA titles going offline in January reads as follows:

  • Rory McIlroy PGA Tour – 16. Januar 2025
  • The Simpsons: Tapped Out – 25. Januar 2025
  • Blood & Glory: Immortals on Apple and Google – 29. Januar 2025
  • Contract Killer: Sniper – 29. Januar 2025
  • Deer Hunter Classic – 29. Januar 2025
  • Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores – 29. Januar 2025
  • Eternity Warriors 4 – 29. Januar 2025
  • Frontline Commando 2 – 29 January 2025
  • Frontline Commando: D-Day – 29. Januar 2025

This year, EA will take more well-known games off the internet. This week, for example, FIFA 22 hits on November 4th, Battlefield 3 goes offline on November 7th. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Battlefield 4 and Battlefield: Hardline are also affected on this date, as is NBA Live 18.
