Sony continues the advertising campaign around Gran Turismo 7, relying on its luxury ambassador: the alpine Formula 1 driver Esteban Ocon.
Recently, most people are talking about Gran Turismo because of its microtransactions and the exorbitant price of its cars. Logically, Sony continues to promote the game Polyphony Digital. Today the Japanese giant has decided to highlight the preparation of its vehicle. In addition to teaching us how to drive, the game is very educational in terms of mechanics.
Pimp my car
The Gran Turismo 7 prep shop allows you to buy a large number of more or less efficient parts. The idea, of course, is to be able to improve the performance of our car in one way or another. Once the parts are installed it will also go through development. In fact, to take full advantage of slick tires, nothing beats a good suspension setup. Likewise, we can limit understeer by adding better tires up front or increasing aerodynamic support.
To explain all this to us, Sony consulted Formula 1 driver Esteban Ocon. The Alpine driver, Gran Turismo 7 Ambassador for France, gives us some small hints on methods to improve our lap times. Esteban is probably good advice as he finished 7th at the Bahrain GP and 6th at the Saudi Arabian GP.
