nintendo possible game console and xbox rivals, but even they couldn’t help but express their excitement for The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom Tears.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will apparently be the biggest game of the year (at least until starry sky out, but we won’t know more until June). It’s such an important game that players weren’t the only ones celebrating the release, as Nintendo’s biggest rivals, the PlayStation and Xbox, both shared their reactions to the release of the latest Zelda game (thanks, GameSpot).
PlayStation simply said: “Have fun out there, Hylians!” ending the tweet with a cloud emoji, an apparent hint at where Link will be spending his time. Xbox shared a slightly longer tweet, writing: “Great to be back at Hyrule. Congratulations [Nintendo] About Kingdom Tears! ”
Nice to be back in Hyrule.
Congratulations @nintendo usa About Kingdom Tears!

PlayStation and Xbox aren’t the only companies talking about Nintendo. Devolver Digital says it will shut down completely joke tweet (although I personally wouldn’t blame them). The Twitter account for the Xbox-exclusive version of Sea of Thieves also said it wouldn’t mind if you played Kingdom Tears, writing“If you’re too busy in another kingdom to set sail today, we won’t shed tears.” The tweet was accompanied by a fun screenshot from Sea of Thieves recreating the Tear of Kingdoms box Art – You can even spot a ship with an Ouroboros-like symbol in the distance.
While everyone is very happy to finally see the end of the game, there’s one big problem – you can’t pet the dog! Still, the game is pretty darn good – and everyone says so – and it even manages to turn one of the worst intros in gaming into something really good.
