Evil Dead: The game has been postponed to next year.
Originally scheduled to be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S this year, Evil Death: The Game It is postponed to February 2022.
According to the developer, Boss Team Games, the extra time will give the team a chance to put some extra polish on it and make sure it is “the ultimate Evil Dead experience you’re all waiting for.”
The extra time will also allow the team to implement the single-person option.
The collaboration of Boss Team and the PvP multiplayer action game was announced at The Game Awards in December 2020. Based on the Evil Dead franchise and characters, the game allows players to confront the evil forces unleashed from Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, with sights and sounds inspired by movies and the Ash vs Evil Dead TV series.
In it, you will act as a team of four survivors, including Ash, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, Scotty, Lord Arthur, Cheryl Williams, Henry the Red, etc., to fight Deadites and expel Kandarian Demon.
Or, you can become a demon yourself and use your possessive power to stop the survivors and devour their souls.
There will be more than 25 weapons to use, including Xiaozhi’s handguards, bombs, and chainsaw. You will be able to upgrade various skill trees to become stronger in order to survive the night.
More information about new character updates, pre-order availability and Bruce Campbell’s next game video will be coming soon.
