Koei Tecmo latest financial report reveals the first sales figures for the RPG Fairy Tail, an adaptation of the manga by Hiro Mashima.
Released on July 30 on PC, PS4 and Switch Fairy Tail has sold 310,000 copies worldwide as of September 30. Translated into several languages, this turn-based RPG begins as a reminder with the events of the island of Tenro and ends with the Tartaros arc, thus eluding the first half of the work.
Koei Tecmo didn’t comment specifically on this startup. Will a sequel see the light of day? Nothing is officially planned for the moment, but it is in any case the wish of the producer Keisuke Kikuchi of the studio Gust, who hopes to transform this game into a franchise, as he had declared in the columns of NintendoEverything.
