Recently there has been all sorts of speculation on the internet that the indie success Fall Guys could also enrich the Xbox Game Pass in the future. Is it really that way? The makers have now commented on this.
Most recently, rumors circulated on the Internet that the indie hit Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout could also be available via Xbox Game Pass in the future. But is there really something to it? Does the game come in Microsoft’s paid game subscription? The makers have now commented on this themselves.
The message for all those interested in the crazy battle royale game who have been waiting for a debut in the Xbox Game Pass is unfortunately not good: According to publisher Devolver Digital, Fall Guys will not go to Microsoft’s service.
In a tweet replay by Tom Warren from The Verge Devolver Digital spoke up and stated that the rumor was “incorrect”. It was also said that there were “no plans for Fall Guys to come up with any kind of game pass”. Ultimately, not only the Xbox Game Pass for consoles, but also the one for PC and mobile is rigorously excluded.
The rumor arose earlier because the official Instagram account for Xbox Game Pass recently picked up a question about Fall Guys with the words “it’s coming”. Apparently, this did not mean that Fall Guys will actually be included in the Xbox Game Pass.
The wacky Battle Royale representative became an absolute hit last year and among other things became the most frequently downloaded PS Plus title of all time. The game has already sold over 11 million on Steam.
