As Microsoft in a Blog-Post As announced, the company is expanding its existing range this year with three more consoles. However, these are not the hoped-for Pro versions, but two new models for the Xbox Series X and one for the Series S.
Three new consoles
A limited edition in the color “Galaxy Black” is being released for the Xbox Series X. This version has 2 TB of storage space and is available from 649.99 dollars. There is no specific information about the limitation yet.
In addition, a digital version will be released in the color “Robot White”. With 1 TB of storage space, this variant is available from 499.99 dollars, making it almost 50 dollars cheaper than the recommended retail price of the Xbox Series X. However, since it is a digital version, this model does not have a drive.

Xbox Series X console comparison
A digital version in the color “Robot White” is also being released for the Xbox Series S. This edition offers 1 TB of storage space and is available from 349.99 dollars, which is the same price as the current console. The only difference in the upcoming model is the color. These devices are unlikely to be real competition for the PS5 Pro.
Release date of the new consoles
There is no official information yet on when the new consoles will be available. In the blog post, Microsoft only announced that the editions will be available from “Holiday 2024”. This suggests a release between November and December 2024.
