This evening from 9 p.m. Ubisoft will show its in-house format Ubisoft Forward on the occasion of E3 2021. But news about Far Cry 6 seem to have been leaked at least in part.
Confirmed: Season Pass lets you become a villain (June 12th, 2021 – 9:58 pm)
Unsurprisingly, the leak was confirmed as part of Ubisoft Forward. The Season Pass will bring the DLC with it, which makes Vaas, Pagan and Joseph playable. You can see the corresponding trailer attached. You can also see from this that the stand-alone expansion “Blood Dragon” for Far Cry 3 will also be part of the Season Pass; this is now available as a Classic Edition for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S.
The Season Pass is already available in the Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition and can also be purchased separately. The Season Pass offers the following content:
-
DLC Episode 1: “Vase: Madness”
-
DLC Episode 2: “Pagan: Control”
-
DLC Episode 3: „Joseph: Kollaps“
-
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
-

Leak: Previous villains as playable characters (June 12th, 2021 – 7:38 pm)
For example, a video made the rounds on the Internet that showed Vaas, Pagan and Joseph three villains from earlier parts as playable characters. According to reports, these should be added as part of a Season Pass.
Vaas Montenegro made his appearance in Far Cry 3, Pagan Min in Far Cry 4 and Joseph Seed in Far Cry 5. In Far Cry 6, all three could return in some sort of dream format or hallucination.
The leaked advertising clip has already been taken offline due to copyright infringement. At least one return of Vaas had already been indirectly hinted at by actor Michael Mando: He said in 2020 that Vaas had played an important role in his life. The spokesperson for the character is still perceived as Vaas and at the time said, “Who knows … maybe I will fill the role with new life very soon?”
Tonight should bring final clarity. Far Cry 6 is being developed by Ubisoft Toronto and will be released on October 7th for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S as well as for the streaming services Google Stadia and Amazon Luna.
