After “The Batman” with Robert Pattinson recently cleared the box office, there will soon be new official DC content about the Dark Knight. Warner Bros. and DC announced today that with “Batman Unburied” a “Batman” podcast will be launched globally on Spotify on May 3, 2022 – and the voice cast is more than impressive.
Bruce Wayne/Batman is voiced by none other than “Black Panther” star Winston Duke. The role of Alfred is voiced in the English original by Jason Isaacs (“Star Trek: Discovery”, “Harry Potter” series) and the role of the villain The Harvester is taken on by Sam Witwer, the longtime spokesman for the “Star Wars” character Darth Maul.
That’s what Batman Unburied is about
“Batman Unburied” presents an unusual “Batman” story. Bruce Wayne works as the coroner at Gotham Hospital on the Spotify podcast. Wayne investigates the victims of the cruel serial killer The Harvester – and finally steps into action as Batman to save the people of Gotham.

Batman Unburied is a worldwide production. The podcast series will also appear in Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, India and Indonesia at the same time as the US original.
In Germany, actor Murathan Muslu takes on the role of the Dark Knight. Muslu is known, among other things, from the Netflix series “Skylines” and was also in front of the camera for “Barbarians”.
